Helen studied Compass, I-Ching Tarot, and Chinese Astrology with Master Cheung Kwong Yin of Hong Kong. She trained in Form School and 3-Door Bagua techniques at the Western School of Feng Shui, and studied 8 Mansions and Flying Stars with Yasha Jampolwsky of the New York School of Feng Shui.
Feng Shui has been a long time passion for Helen, even before she knew of the practice. Intuitively, at only 8 years old, she began moving furniture around to improve the feel of the room and "knowing” that specific colors were needed in certain areas. In 1987, she was introduced to Feng Shui, “The Art of Placement”, by a man from China. This inspired her and ultimately lead to the development of her own practice. In addition to her Feng Shui skills, Helen is a certified Level II Reiki Healer, an Ordained Minister, a Clairaudient and a Tarot Reader. She has been involved in Eastern Studies since 1972 when she took her first yoga class and her first Karate class. She later went on to earn her Brown belt in Tae Kwon Do and has incorporated a daily yoga practice into her life. Helen has extensive training in communications and leadership from an internationally known firm. She has a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from the University of Minnesota, and is a former school teacher. Helen brings all of this life experience into every consultation. Helen is on the Board of Directors of The Virtual Theatre Project, a group of talented theatre artists dedicated to identifying, developing and staging new work.
